White Box is pleased to present the work of twenty graduating MFA students from Mason Gross School of Art, Rutgers University.
Over the course of two years, these eclectic artists have created ambitious bodies of work, in addition to collaborative projects. The relationships forged and the participatory ethos of the student body makes this particular MFA class unique and inspiring, embodying the very spirit of how art communities should ideally exist.
With work ranging from painting and sculpture to video and performance, this show presents challenges to art world trends while maintaining a direct dialogue with contemporary art issues.
These students have come together in a group exhibition to celebrate their diversity and embrace the shared experience they had at school together.
Participating artists include: Tomer Aluf, Ulrika Andersson, Milcah Bassel, Jesus Benavente, Rebekah Callaghan, Caitlin Cocco, Hanna Craft, Zachary Cummings, Raque Ford, Celia Gray, Vanessa Gully Santiago, Aubrey J. Kauffman, Israel Lund, Rachel Malin, Sophy Naess, Grant Newman, Nicholas Pilato, Bethan Robertson, Kevin Travers and Lizz Wells.
