WhiteBox is currently accepting applications for Fall – Winter 2023 – 2024 internships.

Candidates may be in their junior or senior year of college, recent graduates or current MA/MFA students studying fine arts, arts administration, art history, art and technology, or art business. School credit can be arranged.

The ideal intern is highly motivated, organized and detail-oriented, with a desire to gain hands-on administrative and professional experience in a small non-profit arts institution, inclusive now of an Art and Urban Sustainability new program. Must have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced creative office environment. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential; interns should be comfortable interacting with members of the public as well as board members and VIPs. Positive outlook and can-do attitude a must. Knowledge of foreign language(s) – while not essential – is a plus.

General Requirements:
– Available at least 2 full days during the week Tuesday to Sunday from 10:30 am – 6:30 pm each day for at least 3 months.
– Available occasionally during evening hours to assist with workshops, exhibition openings, screenings, and special events
– All interns will be expected to interact with the public, answer the phone, and manage reception.
